I am using Active Backup for Microsoft 0365, and I am happy with how it works and operates.
While I know that I can take snapshots and replicates of my NAS to another local NAS, I would like to be able to back up my ACTIVE BACKUP for MS 365 to another cloud service.
There doesn’t seem to ba a way for me to do do this?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this or is it not possible?
When backing up a backup, I suggest making it a backup copy.
Hyper Backup can do this with rsync (single version), and Cloud Sync could do it as well. Do not make another multiple-version backup from a multiple-version backup.
Thanks for your response here, Paul and Will, it is appreciated.
So by running the Hyperbackup Rsync, isn’t that essentially still a local copy on another NAS, or can I then copy that to the cloud ?
Is it possible to run the single version on a schedule?
I’m a little confused about how this is different from replication, etc.
Have you used either of these for this kind of approach?
I haven’t come across anything that mentions Cloud Syncs as an option.
Or, am I data paranoid as I am copying our full full 0365 tenant via active 0365, as well as copying the files (non compressed) independently to the NAS, and then the non compressed files are copied to Wasabil CLoud onto immutable HDDs.
I like the idea of having the o365 stuff backuped in another cloud senrio as well.
