This is something that I’ve been curious about for a while. I have an editing server where I keep my current projects that consists of 8 1 TB SSDs. I get good speeds, but I can’t help wonder if I made a mistake configuring with SHR vs Raid 5 for speed. Have you done a video like this or would it be interesting?
Either way, I think I’m going to tackle the project soon and would be happy to report back results. I’ve just finishing up painstakingly upgrading some 12TB drives to 22TB drives in my archive server. I appreciate that your videos were so helpful figuring that part out!
