Drive Share link will not open outside of local network

I have Synology Drive set up on my local NAS and devices. It works well for me if I am on my local network. If I go in and share some files or folders with a link when the user attemps to access them the activity just spins and never connects. YOu do see the quickconnect.to and the Logo it just never connects.

I have looked at my permissions and all and cannot fiture out why it doesnt work. I do have the Relay checked to use. Is it possibly a firewall issue where I need to add a port forwarding rule?

With QuickConnect and relay service, there should be no port forwarding or firewall issue preventing from connecting.
One suggestion is give more details about the issue, the share link, what happens if you connect locally with the share link, and what happens if you connect remotely.
Screenshots might help and you might want to clear a few spots for privacy reasons in the images.

Thanks Paul.
I worked it out. Prob a user error.
Also I was looking for an easy way to get to the files to share without going through the log in on the web and realized I’d overlooked in the system tray app there is a tiny ‘world’ icon that connects to the file structure.
Works awesome now and I know how.
Synology is great and I appreciate your input.

I am now trying to figure out team folders. Is there a video or link that might help me?

Could you perhaps be more specific what it is that you try to figure out about Team folders?

I will go out and 1st watch videos by spacerex to start at the beginning. I am just trying to set aside a folder where a friend and I can share photos and videos back and forth without restricstions as to size etc. Appreciate you. If I cant figure it out I will post back…
