Facial Recognition lost

Hi there,
I have been moving my photo library from an “photo” shared space of my Admin Account to a Personal “Photo” folder of my regular User account and then back to “photo” shared space folder.
In this process, my facial recognition got lost - i.e. all names i had associated to the images is not there any longer.

Any advice where and how i can get them back?

I also have snapshots, recycle bin and hyper back ups from before the time when i started shifting pictures around.

  • how would i proceed getting the old status back?

This requires a hack of the internal database. Shared Space and Personal Space are separate. Moving images does not transfer auto-generated information, unfortunately. Maybe Synology will implement this at a later date.
More users are running into this. Careful planning of how you store the images is essential.
