What to do if I save my excryption key inside the encrypted shared folder? and the folder locked now?
I just received my Synology NAS this month, then a couple of days later I was tinkering with it, tried scheduled shutdown and startup… then noticed my encrypted private shared folder is locked
So by default encrypted shared folders are not automatically mounted on boot.
But what you can do is add the encryption key to the key manager, then select “mount on boot” for the keys and then they will automatically mount on boot
i cant find my encryption key (i think its notepad file right)…i think i put it inside the ecrypted file
