Lightroom Classic and auto backups

I setup my DS720 to automatically backup my image files and catalog. These are backup files in case I need them. They are not files I use with LRc on a daily basis.
When I looked at the backup files, I note that while the *.lrcat file got copied, the additional LRc catalog files did not replicate. I used Drive Client and later, for a usb hdd backup, Hyperbackup.
Through some research, I was able to find other users with the same problem.
Here is the current explanation:
Adobe saves these additional catalog files as SYSTEM files. The Synology software WILL NOT SAVE OR COPY SYSTEM FILES. There is no “switch” to turn this function on/off.
So you DO NOT HAVE WHAT IS A DUPLICATE SET OF CATALOG FILES.
The best long term fix is to get Synology to allow the user to include system files in the copy. Short term requires users to manually change the files to non system files or with less techie work, manually copy these files.
I would ask any users out there to ask Adobe to not save the files as System files and ask Synology to include a system file switch in all of their copy/sync software.
