I’ve been banging my head trying to find a work around. We’re using DS1522+ for 2 different depts - Marketing and Sales. We want to give full access to each as a SEPARATE GROUP so they can have the timeline feature in the shared folder. We want each dept having full autonomy from one another and not accessing each other’s content.
We’ve created sep Marketing and Sales subfolders under /photos. However, this doesn’t allow for timeline view access which is the main feature we need.
We’ve spoken to Synology support and told it’s not possible. Shared folder /photos is the only folder Synology Photos will use as a shared folder. Any suggestions?
