New SMB Service update

When you run DSM 7.2, you might see an update of the SMB Service, version 4.15.13-0787, in Package Center.

This version affects auto block in that it no longer blocks SMB connections from private IP addresses or addresses in the same subnet as the NAS.

I thought you might be interested to know. It means that I no longer have to add the local subnet to the Allow list.

That is really good info! I do wish their was the option to set or allow this, but it is really nice having that the default as its what I would recommend for 99% of users!
