Restoring to an nvme drive using Active backup for business

I am having trouble restoring to a system that has an m.2 nvme drive.
Restore agent can’t find the drive

Did you made the backup on the same NAS to another NAS? Is the NVMe drive a Synology branded drive? Please share more details about your setup.

I have active backup for business setup on a DS923+ for several laptop pcs with m.2 nvme drives. when I attempt to restore using recovery agent, says there is no drive to restore to. The drives in the laptops are various manufacture, either HP or Samsung. I can restore a laptop that has a sata ssd installed.

I have a better idea now. Thank you.

Maybe the recovery agent needs a driver for the NVMe drives. I am not experienced with the recovery agent, unfortunately. Maybe contact Synology support.
