SMB vs Link Aggregation set up

Setting up my DS918+ and I currently have a CAX80 modem router that supports LACP-IEEE 802.3ad with two 1Gbe cables to the NAS. I then have a 2.5Gbe out from the router that I currently have plugged into my desktop. What would be the best set up for me? SMB Multi Channel or LACP? I plan on using both Mac laptop with a 2.5Gbe network adaptor and my Windows desktop. Occasionally use Wi-Fi 6 to NAS.

SMB seems to be the “easy” option however I read a post about Mac not playing well with this as well as a note on the YT video that if your router supports LACP its superior (but didn’t mention if I can do 1 2.5Gbe client side to 2x1Gbe NAS side).

Thanks!!!
