We have a supplier who shares a Synology folder with us that they update daily. We do not have admin rights to their Synology, but we do have read/write access with a custom username and password. (We connect to this folder via quickconnect)
Would it be possible to sync this folder to our local Synology without having to involve the supplier (using only the credentials they have given us)? I don’t think they will give us their admin password, so ShareSync might not work
Basically, their folder has become so large and slow that logging in remotely and downloading a single file can take 20 minutes. If we can keep an updated copy on our local NAS we shouldn’t face that same problem.
