So that looks like it probably was one of two things:

I see that the backup is unable to access files/folders in the /private/var/protected
Please check the permissions on that folder. It should have read/write access to be able to backup.

Looks like you are trying to backup a folder that is protected. I would exclude that from your backup
Yes I chose all the files to backup. I wasn’t sure which to leave out and which to chose.
Ah, you are unable to backup every single file as some are protected by MacOS. I would just choose the folders you need, use Active Backup for Business, or Time Machine

Just backup the users documents folder / maybe their user folder. It is wherever you are storing data.
Synology Drive Backup is not meant to be a full volume backup, but really designed to make sure you have a backup of your files if you need them
