I am just dipping into all features of Synology Photos and have a simple question:
Would it be a good idea to store my home videos (up to almost 2 Tb, videos up to 15min) together with my photos to use in Synology Photos or is it better to store them in a separate folder (so not combined with my photos)?

It depends what you want to do with the videos. If you are looking to share then with other users / friends and family then absolutely!
However if you are looking to watch them on a television then plex or video station may suit you better

Would it be an option to do both at the same time, so having the Photo folder (with both photos and home videos) appear in Plex?
