Hello, about 2 months ago the Synology photos ‘search’ function, was fantastic. I could put in a word that I knew was in the photo’s metadata and SynPhotos would find it. It didn’t matter whether my ‘search’ word was in the description or in the file name, SynPhotos would find it.
However that’s not happening now - and my search results are now incomplete. I cannot pin down why some photos are found, and others are not.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I have raised a ticket with Synology and they want to remotely access my NAS - even though I sent them a log, and sent them a video showing the ‘incomplete’ search results.
So before I let them access my NAS, just wondering if anyone is having issues searching within SynPhotos.
