Keeping data safe when using Drive.

If the laptop or even desktop is “lost/stolen”, someone would see and have access to the Drive data. Drive is convenient but all the data is there for a passerby to access. Could be payroll records or medical records.

Could an encrypted folder be layered in to the Drive folder?

So you can always layer encryption into the hard drive of any computer. Windows has bitlocker built in and MacOS has full disk encryption (possibly by default)

Drive is also coming out with remote wipe for this scenario as well!
