I just upgraded my server from ESXi 7 with a free License to ESXi 8. I did all the steps to register but the license key is not showing up at: https://customerconnect.vmware.com/en/evalcenter?p=free-esxi8.
I googled around and the results are split between you have to wait a while (days) for the key to generate and VMware no longer has a free version of ESXi 8. Does anyone know if there is a free version of 8? If so, do you know what’s up with the license Keys?
