While traveling I received a message from Snyology saying that I had “checksum mismatch”. I didn’t know what I could do while out of town so I ignored it for the time being. Then I got a message saying Volume 1 had become “read only”. Then I received a message saying “An SSD cache on Volume 1 has crashed”. All drives shown as being “Healthy”. Should I shut the NAS down until I return home or deactivate the read-write cache SSDs?
I suggest removing the SSD cache. Chances are, all will run as normally.
