VPN stopped working -- Peer Certificate Failure

I have been using my VPN that I set up. When I went to use it today (logging in through OpenVPN), it told me that I have a peer certificate verification failure. Not sure how to fix this. I looked under Security in the Control Panel and the certificate for the VPN says that it is still active.

It may sound strange, but check whether there is an update for the OpenVPN Connect client.

Thanks Paul. I checked the client’s and they were all up to date. But, then I just looked at the server on the NAS and downloaded a new configuration file. I compared it to the file I have been using, and saw the certificate key changed. I loaded that to the client and now everything works. I am thinking that when I did an NAS update the other day, something may have changed in the server that warranted the download of a new configuration file. This seems to have solved the problem. Thanks for putting me on the update path.

It’s great to hear you solved it. Reloading the configuration would have been my next step as well. A NAS update can alter the certificate, as you mentioned.
