What I would like to see

Will, first, thank you for all the free tutorials you are doing, they have been extremely valuable.

One of the main reasons I went to Synology years ago, was to be in charge of my data and privacy. I wanted to leave as little as possible of my data on third party servers.

Data privacy from both private entities and government overreach is a growing concern and is a subject that you have not addressed much if at all.

I would love you to start exploring self-hosted solutions on Synology NAS’s, likely Containers Manager installs, of various open-source data privacy oriented applications.

One application I was specifically looking at recently, is the Matrix / Element self-hosted version chat application. There is Synology Chat but it is antiquated and limited compared to Element. The installation seems a little complicated but you are excellent at explaining complex things in a way that most can understand and there is very little content currently on YT, so hoping this peaks your interest.

Additionally, I believe this is a good product that you could market to your clients, I’m sure many small businesses would love to get out of the Microsoft Teams claws and its eavesdropping, Matrix and its various clients like Element is a solid option for that.
